Curbside Collection Schedules

Curbside Collection

In this rapidly changing environment, please continue to check back here for curbside collection related updates.

Currently, garbage, recycling and food waste curbside collection is continuing as scheduled.

We need your help to keep our collection drivers safe by taking the following precautions:

  • All garbage waste must be bagged and securely tied, including:
    • all paper towels, tissues, toilet paper, face masks, gloves, and disposable sanitary wipes (flushable and compostable) - these items cannot be disposed of in your recycling, nor food waste containers.
  • If someone is sick in your household, double-bag and securely tie all personal waste.

Waste that do not adhere to the above guidelines will BE LEFT BEHIND, NO EXCEPTIONS.

Extra Bag Tags

In effort to safeguard staff and residents under the current COVID-19 self-isolation protocols, the RDN is providing an alternate method of payment for the extra bag tags through the RDN online portal

Effective immediately (for the duration of the COVID-19 outbreak), residents can submit a request through the online portal for extra garbage capacity at a cost of $3 per container, which will be billed on your annual utility bill. Your address will be added to the driver's route list on your next scheduled collection day.

Please refer to the updated location list for facilities still operational and selling extra bag tags.
