The RDN's WWS commits to providing reliable, high quality and cost-effective wastewater services. We strive to optimize our treatment and re-use processes with proven, innovative technologies and sound asset management practices at our facilities. In fulfillment of this commitment, it is the WWS policy:

To comply with the letter and spirit of relevant environmental laws and regulations.

To protect the environment, including preventing pollution, by improving the quality of treated wastewater

To identify and monitor environmental impacts and set measurable objectives and targets to reduce those impacts on the environment

To plan and implement risk management and mitigation strategies for hazards and vulnerabilities associated with climate change.

To foster openness and dialogue with employees, First Nations and the public and respond to their concerns about potential hazards and impacts of our operations.

To seek improvement throughout our operations to improve efficiency and productivity and lessen our impact on the environment by conserving energy, water and other natural resources
