Departments
The Regional District of Nanaimo's (RDN) many services are organized into general departments that are the responsibility of RDN senior management. General Managers report to the Chief Administrative Officer, who in turn reports to the Regional District of Nanaimo Board.
Corporate Services
Corporate Services is responsible for managing the administrative business of the Regional Board. For many people, they are the first point of contact at the RDN.
Recreation and Parks
Recreation and Parks offers a variety of programs, services and events for all residents in the region.
Regional and Community Utilities
Regional and Community Utilities services include water supply in rural communities, wastewater treatment and disposal, Curbside Collection of solid waste and recycling, engineering, and street lighting.
