Connect to RDN Sewer

To join a sewer service area and get a connection to community sewer collection, please submit a letter to the General Manager of Regional & Community Utilities. Generally speaking, a request may be supported as follows:

  • Where the property is located within a designated village center in the OCP; or
  • Where the existing septic disposal system has failed; an ensuing health or environmental problem is evident; and there are no reasonable alternative means of resolving sewage disposal through on-site measures.

Notwithstanding the above, a connection to the community sewer system outside of the OCP village centers is not intended to allow additional development or density on the property. Additionally, the property owner would be responsible for the entire cost of designing and installing the sewer infrastructure to the property frontage.
