Emergency Volunteers

Amateur Radio

Volunteers are the lifeline of key supports delivered by RDN Emergency Services.

Whether it's Emergency Support Services deployed at an individual or community level or volunteers assisting in large scale evacuations that require evacuees register at Reception Centres or Group Lodging facilities, the RDN needs additional helping hands in times of emergency.

Volunteers also play a key role in the deployment of local fire crews, search and rescue and emergency amateur radio communications. Learn more using the blue buttons below.
