Impact of Ongoing Postal Strike on November Utility Statements

Due to the ongoing postal strike, the Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) is unable to mail out the November utility statements, which usually serve as a final reminder to residents to remit payment for outstanding balances on their utility accounts before December 31. This will impact approximately 2,200 utility accounts, out of a total of 18,123 utility accounts served by the RDN.

Impacted utility accounts with outstanding balances prior to the September billing cycle should have received a reminder statement between late September and early October. Residents should reach out to the Finance Department at 250-390-6528 or Finance [at] rdn.bc.ca, if they would like an electronic copy of their November statement.
