Events and Public Education
The RDN’s Emergency Services team, along with Emergency Management Oceanside (a collaboration between the RDN, Town of Qualicum Beach and City of Parksville), promote emergency preparedness to communities throughout the region. With handouts, emergency preparedness guidebooks, emergency kit demonstrations, practical advice and public events, we have something for everyone.
We look forward to seeing you in your community!
If you want to invite us to your event or community meeting, email us at emergencyservices [at] rdn.bc.ca (emergencyservices[at]rdn[dot]bc[dot]ca) and request a presentation. Don't forget to include important information in the email e.g., name, location, date options, preferred times, number of people expected and key contacts.
