RDN News Release - Larger Organics Carts Available for RDN Curbside Customers

Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) curbside collection service customers can now choose a larger organics cart. After reviewing the expanded organics program participation, material volumes, costs and resident feedback, the RDN has a 240-litre organics cart option that will better meet residents’ light yard waste needs while increasing waste diversion. This optional program is available at any time to residents; however, incentives are available only to those who order their new, larger carts by November 30, 2024.
