Notice of First Reading for Amendment Bylaw Nol 2500.09

The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) advises that proposed "Regional District of Nanaimo Zoning Amendment Bylaw No. 2500.09, 2026" (Bylaw 2500.09) respecting 85 Henry Morgan Drive, in Electoral Area 'H' will be considered for First Reading by the RDN Board at its regular meeting on September 22, 2026, at 1 p.m. A Public Hearing cannot be held for as an Official Community Plan applies to the area subject to Bylaw 2500.09 and the RDN Boad considers Bylaw 2500.09 to be consistent with "Regional District of Nanaimo Electoral Area 'H' Official Community Plan Bylaw No. 1335, 2019" and the purpose of the bylaw is to permit residential development.
