RDN News Release - Manufactured Home Park Tenant Protection Policy Public Engagement

The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) is updating its Manufactured Home Park Redevelopment Policy, adopted in 2006, to better reflect current community needs, regional priorities, provincial regulations and best practices. This update also includes a change in policy title to Manufactured Home Park Tenant Protection Policy. The RDN invites residents, manufactured home park owners/operators and community members to review the draft policy and to share their input by completing the online survey by August 29, 2026, before the policy returns to the Board for final consideration.
