RDN News Release - Curbside Collection Service Disruptions

Due to an emergency event at a Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) solid waste partner facility, there are service impacts to the RDN Curbside Collection program. Effective immediately, residents in central and northern RDN communities can expect unpredictable service delays, interruptions and potentially missed curbside collections on recycling-organic collection days. Garbage-organic collection days will not be impacted. Residents are encouraged to download the RDN Curbside app to receive direct updates on any impacts to services.
