Local Government Awareness Week is an annual provincial initiative to build public awareness of local government roles and encourage participation in local government processes. This year’s theme is Infrastructure and in recognition of the week, which runs May 12 - 18, 2024, the Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) invites residents to learn about who is responsible for different infrastructure in our region.
Infrastructure includes transportation, wastewater management and water supply. Visit our Get Involved RDN page for information about infrastructure in the RDN as well as FAQs, videos and an online form to submit any questions you may have about the RDN in general.
