Polar Bear Splash

Parksville Beach

Monday, January 1 at 12 p.m.

Start the New Year with a splash. Come down and join in the fun as a spectator, volunteer, or participant who takes the plunge into cold water. Visit the RDN table to receive your Annual Polar Bear Splash button and enter to win prizes starting at 11:30 a.m.

Winter Wonderland on Ice  Dec 13–31
It is a holiday tradition to take part in this magical skating event. Special lighting and décor makes you feel as though you are skating on an outdoor pond at night. Wheel chairs and strollers are welcome.

New Year’s Eve Family Celebration
Celebrate New Year’s Eve family style at Oceanside Place Arena. There are a lot of great activities to keep your family busy; pond hockey, disco light skate, activities, crafts, cupcake walk, and great entertainment. Tickets required and are available Dec 4 at Oceanside Place Arena (while available).
