    The public is invited to join us in celebrating the completion of phase one of the Jack Bagley Community Park development project. There will be guest speakers, a pickleball demonstration and an opportunity to try out this fun sport on the newly completed courts.

    Celebrate Youth Week

     

    Regional District of Nanaimo, Recreation and Parks, ACRA (Arrowsmith Community Recreation Association), Society of Organized Services (SOS), Sources Community Resources, VIHA, Career Centre and community partners are proud to celebrate National Youth Week from May 1 to May 7 annually.

    Youth are a vital part of each community and contribute meaningful experiences through their participation in a wide variety of programs. Whether it is recreation, arts, civic engagement, drama, dance, sport, volunteerism, or leadership, their contributions help shape our community.(External link)(External link)

    Throughout May 1 to May 7, we celebrate teens by offering workshops, contests, and activities.
