Field/Court/Lacrosse Box Bookings

The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN), the City of Parksville, the Town of Qualicum Beach, and School District 69 have outdoor fields and courts suitable for seasonal, occasional and tournament play. View field and court maps here.

Spring/summer league and tournament requests are due January 31. Fall/winter league and tournament requests are due July 31.

Please allow a minimum of three (3) business days for bookings to be processed.

For casual use of a field or a court, a permit is not required, but please note that groups with bookings do get priority use.

Lights

Springwood Park lights are available by purchasing tokens at the City of Parksville.

Qualicum Beach Community Park lights will go on automatically based on field booking time. If there are issues please contact the RDN at 250-752-5014 or the Town of Qualicum Beach at 250-752-6921.

Field Status

Municipal fields are closed for semi-annual maintenance in March and September. Please direct maintenance concerns to the field/court owner.

Sport Courts

Courts are available at Springwood Park, Qualicum Beach, Parksville Community Park, Dunsmuir Community Park, Jack Bagley Community Park and Ballenas Secondary School for tennis and pickleball play. Clubs may book seasonal court times.

Drop-in/Casual times are available for use without a permit/booking. If other people are waiting please limit your play to 30 minutes.

Booked/Bookable times are available for booking (if not already booked) by individuals or groups. If the space is not in use during posted booked/bookable times you are welcome to use it but groups with permits do get priority.

Parksville Community Park

Parksville Community Park features a gazebo, picnic shelter and beach volleyball courts. These are booked by the City of Parksville, 250-951-2484.
