Swim Schedule Programs and Registration Facility Bookings Become a Lifeguard 

Facility Information

Ravensong Aquatic Centre includes:

  • Two pools: a 25-metere lane pool and a leisure pool.
  • A Hot tub, sauna and steam room. 
  • Accessible washrooms and changerooms.
  • Reception and administration offices.

All pools and hot spots are accessible, and the Centre is accessible by Regional Transit

Pools

Both pools are disinfected using a tablet chlorination system. The pool water is also filtered and treated with ultraviolet light and sand filtration. The main pool water is re-circulated through the system in its entirety once every six hours.  

The pools are set at the following temperatures:  

  • Main pool: 29 C or 84.2 F  
  • Leisure pool: 34.5 C or 94 F

Hot tub, showers, sauna and steam room

Ravensong Aquatic Centre has both a steam sauna and a dry infrared saua.

The hot tub, showers, sauna and steam room and hot tub are open for drop-in.

Changerooms

Ravensong Aquatic Centre has:

  • Four universal family private change rooms, with washrooms.
  • One female changeroom.
  • One male changeroom.

Hours

Ravensong Aquatic Centre Recreation reception is open September 8 to December 19, 2025 for the following hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. 
  • Saturday: 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 
  • Sunday: 10 a.m. to  5:30 p.m. 

Ravensong Aquatic Centre Recreation reception is open December 21, 2025 to January 4, 2026 for the following hours:

  • Monday: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Tuesday: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Wednesday: 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
  • Thursday: December 25 and January 1 closed
  • Friday: December 26 closed, January 2: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m.
  • Saturday: 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
  • Sunday: 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

It will be closed December 25, 26 and January 1.

Ravensong Aquatic Centre Recreation reception is open January 5 to March 13, 2026 for the following hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. 
  • Saturday: 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. 
  • Sunday: 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

On Monday, February 16 regular swim sessions are closed. Join us for a Free BC Family Day Swim from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Swimming Lessons

Ravensong Aquatic Centre uses the Lifesaving Society Swim for Life program. 

If your child has taken swimming lessons before, you can find out the last level completed by:

  • Checking your account online. The last level your child completed will be recorded in My Account/Activity Program Graded List.
  • Calling us at 250-248-3252 or 250-752-5014 our staff will be happy to look this up for you.

If you are still unsure about what level to register your child in, or if you are just starting lessons, we recommend: 

  • 0-2 years register in parent and tot lessons.
  • Preschool, ages 3-5 years start in Preschool 1.
  • Children ages 5 years+ start in Swimmer 1. 

If your child has been swimming and is confident in the water, visit our pool during an Everyone Welcome session and ask our staff to recommend the right swim level for your child. If a swim lesson is full and you are not able to register, please add your name to the waitlist. If staffing levels increase classes will be added and those on the waitlist will be prioritized.
