RDN News Release - New Oceanside Place Arena Dressing Room

The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) and the Oceanside Generals are pleased to announce that construction of the new dressing room at Oceanside Place Arena is underway. Establishing a dressing room for the Oceanside Generals has been an organizational goal for the team for many years and has become a requirement from BC Hockey due to reclassification of the league’s status from Junior B to Junior A. For the RDN, it adds a valuable addition to the arena for use by local minor sport teams and other groups for special events during the hockey off season. Construction is anticipated to be completed by Spring 2026.
