RDN News Release - Help Shape Active Transportation in Cedar

The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) is seeking input to help develop an Active Transportation Network Plan (the plan) for Cedar Village in Electoral Area A (EA A). The plan will build upon the 2009 Active Transportation Plan for EA A and the 2013 Cedar Main Street Village Plan, while taking a more detailed look at existing conditions and identifying opportunities to improve infrastructure that supports walking, cycling and other active transportation modes. The plan will guide the development of a comprehensive network with safer, more modern infrastructure in the Cedar Village area, and strengthen connections to broader regional and provincial active transportation routes.
