The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) is pleased to announce that 7.3 acres (2.95 hectares) of undeveloped forested property next to Romain Road Community Park in Errington, which is part of Electoral Area F (EA F), has been secured through crown tenure to manage as a community park. This new addition is crown land, and a thirty-year nominal lease for the site has been approved by the Government of British Columbia. This will bring the total area of Romain Road Community Park to 18.2 acres (7.35 hectares).
