RDN News Release - Funding Received for Climate Adaptation Initiatives

The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) is pleased to announce that funding of up to $310,750 has been received from the Government of Canada through Natural Resource Canada (NRCan)’s Climate-Resilient Coastal Communities Program. These funds will be used to build a coastal climate change adaptation strategy in the region. The RDN will work with various levels of government, First Nations, shoreline property owners, community members and businesses to develop the strategy.
