The BC Wildfire Service (BCWS) is responding to the Lockwood Creek Fire (V72550) within the Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) near Mount Arrowsmith. The fire is estimated to be two hectares in size and is in a remote area. The fire is not threatening any values; however, it may be visible from Vancouver Island corridors. Fire crews are on the scene and will continue working throughout the day.
