RDN News Release - Community Issues Assessment for Electoral Area G

The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) has received approval and a $45,000 grant from the Government of British Columbia’s Ministry of Municipal Affairs (Ministry) to undertake a community issues assessment for Electoral Area G (EA G). This assessment is the first step in a potentially longer, phased process. The community issues assessment aims to provide residents with an understanding of the current system of governance in EA G. It will also identify if there are any key issues or emerging trends. Depending on the results of the community issues assessment, further study may be considered to assess ways to address the issues.
