    Location: Vancouver Island Regional Library, Harbourfront Library in downtown Nanaimo – 90 Commercial street, Nanaimo – Large Meeting Room

    Join RDN Zero Waste and instructor to learn how to make art out of fabric waste!  Instructor Kim Adam guides you through the process of weaving on a simple frame loom using 'waste' fabrics & yarns to fashion a wall hanging or small bag. Receive instructions and tips to create more woven art at home. You'll view 'old/useless' textiles in a whole new light...virtuous recycling while having fun!!

    Equipment & supplies provided BUT participants should bring their own scissors for cutting fabrics/yarns.
