Installation of a new campground office building in Descanso Bay Regional Park located on Gabriola Island in Electoral Area B, is scheduled to begin on January 8, 2024, and is expected to be complete by January 26, 2024. The area around the new office building will be closed to the public while the work is occuring. Please be cautious, remain alert to construction activities and obey all posted signage when using the park.
The remainder of the park, including the trails and day use beach areas, will remain open to the public.
