Notice of Public Hearing for Zoning Amendment Application No. PL2022-139

The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) advises of a Public Hearing regarding a zoning amendment respecting 594 Karl's Way in Electoral Area G.  The purpose of the proposed bylaw is to rezone a portion (0.31 hectares) of the subject property from Residential 1 (RS1) zone, Subdivision District 'Q' to Public 1 (PU1) zone, Subdivision 'Q', to recognize an existing church; and maintain a portion (0.0711 hectares) of the subject property as RS1 zone, Subdivision District 'Q', as an option to subdivide one RS1-zoned lot from the parent parcel at a future date.
