Local Government Awareness Week is an annual initiative to build public awareness of local government roles and encourage participation in local government processes. In recognition of the week, which runs May 14 - 20, 2023, the Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) invites residents to learn about who and what the RDN is, the services provided to residents and how you can get more involved.
