RDN News Release - 2023 Zero Waste Grants

The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) is pleased to announce that applications for the Zero Waste Recycling Funding (ZWRF) program are being accepted until October 3, 2022. Up to $300,000 in grants will be available in 2023, the final year of the three-year funding cycle. The grants foster ingenuity and growth in the waste industry by reducing the financial risks that come with exploring new ideas. Non-profit organizations are eligible to apply for project funding that focuses on sustainable waste diversion and related activities that support the development of a circular economy in our region.
