RDN News Release - South Wellington and Blueback Community Park AAP Results

The Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) has verified that the South Wellington School site 25-year lease and the Blueback Community Park property addition were approved through Alternative Approval Processes (AAP) that concluded on Monday, February 14, 2022. Both AAPs were conducted in accordance with Section 86 of the Community Charter. Approval for both projects was obtained as less than 10 per cent of electors within the respective service areas submitted an elector response form by the February 14, 2022, response deadline.
