A Public Hearing will be waived, and Third Reading Considered at the Regional Board scheduled for Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at 1 p.m., for Amendment Bylaw No. 500.435, respecting 3131 and 3141 Galloway Gulch in Electoral Area C.
The purpose of Bylaw 500.435 is to amend “Regional District of Nanaimo Land Use and Subdivision Bylaw No. 500, 1987” by changing the Subdivision District from ‘D’ to ‘F’, reducing the minimum parcel size from 2.0 hectares to 1.0 hectare. If successful, this amendment would make it possible for the applicant to pursue a two-lot subdivision application.
