Until November 30, 2020, Regional District of Nanaimo (RDN) residents who do not want to or are not able to repurpose their used collection containers can recycle them. This initiative was launched as a response to residents who expressed interest during the automated cart selection period in 2019. There are two options for recycling containers:
- Drop Off at Approved RDN Disposal Facilities – until November 30, 2020
- Curbside Pickup - November 17 to 28, 2020
