Based on the winter weather forecast for tomorrow, Tuesday, January 14, there is a possibility curbside collection may be cancelled for the safety of residents and the collection crew. The RDN will provide another update at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow to confirm if collection is cancelled. RA routes include Lantzville, Mt. Benson and Fairwinds areas.
In the event your collection is missed tomorrow, please remove your material from the curb to allow for snow removal. The contractor will attempt to pick up the missed material for two consecutive days following the scheduled collection day. Residents are advised to remove their material at the end of the day and keep placing their materials at the curb by 8 a.m. for the following two consecutive days. If your material has not been picked up by the end of the Thursday, January 16, please remove the material from the curb and set out the missed material on the next recycling collection day.
