WATER MAIN FLUSHING
FRENCH CREEK WATER SERVICE AREA (SANDPIPER)
Date: October 16 – 18, 2019
Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
The RDN Water System Operators will be flushing (cleaning) watermains in the French Creek Water Service Area as part of the annual watermain maintenance program.
Customers should expect the following between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on the dates listed above:
- Temporary disruption of service
- Intermittent drops in water pressure
- Discolouration of water.
During the flushing program, and for a short time when service is resumed, the water may be discoloured. This discolouration is due to disturbed deposits in the pipes and is not harmful.
Please do laundry only in the evenings or on the weekend, and ensure that you have sufficient water for the day.
The RDN is not responsible for any damages resulting from the use of discoloured water.
