The Regional District of Nanaimo invites qualified accounting firms to submit proposals to perform annual financial audits for both the Regional District of Nanaimo and the Nanaimo Regional Hospital District.
The Auditor will be required to examine the financial records, systems and controls of the Regional District and the Regional Hospital District in accordance with Canadian generally accepted auditing standards and the provisions of the Local Government Act, and Community Charter, and to then provide separate written audit reports with an audit opinion on the consolidated financial statements as prepared by staff for the Regional District and the Regional Hospital District.
