You don't have to go to a meeting to participate. Regional District of Nanaimo staff are available during regular business hours to discuss your ideas, questions, or concerns. We can be reached at (250) 390-6510.
We are aware of a number of community bulletin boards located in Electoral Area 'A'. We will endeavor to include periodic information about the Cedar Main Street Design Project on these Boards.
We encourage you to speak to your community leaders and to community groups about the Cedar Main Street Design Project. We also encourage community groups to play an active role by providing opportunities at a community level for discussion and debate, either through their existing meetings or electronic means such as blogs initiated by individuals or community groups. Community groups who want to play an active role in the Cedar Main Street Design Project who have websites are encouraged to contact the Regional District of Nanaimo regarding providing a web link from the Cedar Main Street Design Project page to the community group website so that information can be made available to everyone who is interested.
Once selected, the Citizens Advisory Group will be an excellent source of current information related to the Cedar Main Street Design Project.
