The RDN encourages all users of parks and trails on Vancouver Island to use caution when in the forest, to be aware of fire hazards and to obey fire regulations. Never drop a burning cigarette or other burning substances in the forest.

Park Use Regulation Bylaw 1399 regulates all activities within RDN community and regional parks including fire.
