RDN Solid Waste Facilities are designed to manage and dispose of materials that cannot be reduced, reused or recycled. Save time and money by checking these alternatives before bringing materials to the Regional Landfill or Church Road Transfer Station .

Nanaimo Recycling Exchange

Accepts a wide range of recyclables, residential yard and garden waste (fees apply), household hazardous waste (paints, solvents, used oil etc.), used computer equipment and clean reusable household items. Ph. (250) 758-7777

Provides a listing service where RDN residents can post free items that others can use.

Gabriola Island Recycling Organization
