Private Rentals: Special Events

Oceanside Place Arena is more than just an ice rink! It is a perfect place to host your tournament, skating/hockey school, conference or trade show. Successful events that have utilized Oceanside Place include: Classic IV Seniors Hockey tournament (24 Teams), Home and Auto Show, "AAA" Midget Provincial Tournament, Vancouver Island Skate International, and Secondary School Commencement Ceremonies. Oceanside Place will also be hosting in 2007 The TOPS annual conference and in 2008 the Rotary International Conference.

Rental services available

• 2 NHL regular size ice sheets. (17,000 sqft each)
• Multipurpose over ice floor cover available for shows and events.
• 800 spectator seating in Howie Meeker Arena
• 200 spectator seating in Victor Kraatz Arena
• 1204 sqft Multi Purpose Room with option to divide in two. Sinks, chairs, and tables available.
• 3500 sqft Lobby available for event use.
• Oceanside Pond, Leisure ice for rent or public use. Converted to dry floor May - August.
• Meeting Room 259 sqft.
• Skate Shop sharpening and rentals.
• Experienced staff eager to assist with event needs

Private Rental Options

"All Inclusive Rates" for private ice or dry floor rentals are a great option for your next birthday, group or special event. This rate includes your ice rental, skate rentals and a rental attendant.
