Welcome to the Liquid Waste Department (LWD) website.
This website provides information to our customers about liquid waste management within the RDN.
The LWD owns and operates four wastewater treatment facilities, twenty pump stations and two septage receiving sites between Qualicum Beach and Duke Point.
These facilities perform the essential process of transporting and treating wastewater that leaves our homes and businesses. The LWD complies with environmental regulations and follows efficient, conscientious practice.
